P E R S O N A L I T Y:

Perpetually tired looking, Yukari is not much of a social butterfly, or one at all. She hardly appears at public events and it's a wonder that people even know she exists at all. She's the last person that should be teaching a class really, but somehow, she manages to do so with great efficiency...or maybe great laziness is the more accurate words to use. Prone to sleeping at her desk during class hours, Yukari teaches her classes by pre-recording herself going through the material and then playing it during class on a laptop while she sleeps.

It sounds like a potential disaster, but somehow it works out just fine. She takes into account student's needs for breaks and possible questions during her recordings and answers them before they even have a chance to be asked. Just be sure not to wake her during such times. The fallout will be deadly. It's completely unknown exactly WHY she's always so tired though. Her activities outside the classroom are mired in mystery and it's made even more so by the fact she she lives off campus. Utterly strange woman all in all.

S T R E N G T H S:

◊ Capable of quite a bit of analytical thinking. ...Just give her time to wake up first.
◊ Doesn't demand much of anything. She's satisfied with what she's got.
◊ Master of the art of disappearing. ...For better or worse.
◊ An adept programmer, she writes her own code and software.

W E A K N E S S E S:
◊ Utterly incapable of staying awake for long periods. Sleeping is her number one vice.
◊ Horribly blunt in conversation. She doesn't mince words for anyone. Not out of malice though.
◊ Fatigue seemingly hampers her emotional capacity in most situations. A gasp of surprise from most people will just be a few slow blinks of the eyes from her.
◊ Too lazy to take care of domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc. She'd rather use the time to catch up on sleep.

H I S T O R Y:

Not much is actually known about Yukari. Other than the fact that she's not completely Japanese. But she seems to be a close associate of one Koganeiro Nanatsuyoru. In fact, she is employed by his company. Once it came to the point where Koganeiro himself became too busy to actually teach classes at Higashimori High School himself anymore, he immediately recommended Yukari to serve as his replacement.

Needless to say, one has to wonder what was going through his head at the time. Despite her general weirdness, Yukari proves to be an effective teacher...if a little disconnected from reality.

T R I V I A:
◊ She's actually employed at the Nanatsuyoru Company as a programmer, which seems to be her main occupation. She's rather good at it too considering that she personally designed most of their computer infrastructure.
◊ She lives on her own, but Koga's personal assistant occasionally visits to clean up and make sure she hasn't drowned falling asleep in the bathtub or something stupid like that.
◊ On school grounds, one can usually find her asleep in any number of places. The teacher lounge or the shade of a tree in the courtyard are prime locations.
◊ Always keeps a laptop in her possession. It's important since she basically teaches her classes entirely from it most of the time.
◊ She can speak English, Japanese, Chinese, German, Spanish, Italian, and French fluently. Probably why Koga recommended her.
◊ When the stars align, she may actually be awake enough to teach her classes without voice recordings. The key word being 'may'.
◊ Speaking of which, she records those while simultaneously doing programming work for other projects.
◊ She doesn't completely understand the whole shadow/persona business. The explanation she was given by Koga was that "The students are'Allies of Justice!' fighting against the 'Forces of Darkness!'". She just nodded and let it be.
◊ She actually has children. A son and a daughter. But they don't stay with her. She doesn't see herself as responsible enough to take care of them properly yet, so she's leaves them in the care of her own parents for now.
◊ She is not a stranger to the art of hacking.
